Event Highlights

Day 1 | Saturday, 24 October 2026
Arrival & Welcome to Bukit Lawang
Hosted buyers arrive at Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) and are warmly received before transferring to the lush rainforest gateway of Bukit Lawang, nestled on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Guests check in at a comfortable ecolodge and unwind before enjoying a special Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 | Sunday, 25 October 2026
Immersive Nature Experience
A full morning of adventure awaits: guided trekking through Gunung Leuser National Park in search of wild orangutans, towering rainforest trees, and rich biodiversity, followed by an exciting tube rafting session. The afternoon is free for personal exploration or inspection of local hotels and restaurants.

Day 3 | Monday, 26 October 2026
Transfer to Medan & City Highlights
After breakfast, the group travels to Medan. The day features a curated city tour including the Crocodile Farm, Velangkani Church, Maimoon Palace, the Grand Mosque, and the charming Kesawan Square. Guests then check in at the 5-star Aryaduta Hotel and prepare for another Welcome Dinner.

Day 4 | Tuesday, 27 October 2026
The Heart of ASTEX – Travel Exchange
The main business day unfolds with a structured program:

• Seller & Buyer Registration
• Official Opening Ceremony
• Brand Presentations
• Three intensive Business Sessions using the Round Robin system
• Free dealing time and Lucky Draw
• Formal Farewell Dinner

This is the core of ASTEX 2026 — a focused platform for one-on-one meetings, product presentations, and deal-making between North Sumatra’s tourism stakeholders and international travel trade professionals.

Day 5 | Wednesday, 28 October 2026
Departure
After breakfast and free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation, hosted buyers check out and transfer to Kualanamu Airport for their departure flights.
